How to build it
- Choose a hardwood board with attractive grain and no cracks.
- Draw a handle about 5″ long and 1½″ wide on one end, with generous curves where it meets the board.
- Cut the shape with a jigsaw or bandsaw and drill a hanging hole in the handle.
- Sand the edges round and the faces to 220 grit.
- Oil it generously and let it soak in overnight before using.
