Tips for working with 1×4 scraps
- A 1×4 is actually ¾″ × 3½″. Plans here use the real size.
- Check the ends for fine cracks before cutting parts from them.
- If you can rip, a 1×4 also becomes two strips of 1½″, which is ideal for rims and cleats.
